Batman: Year One

*Year One*, later called "*Batman: Year One*", is a Batman story arc that traces the first year of the superhero Batman as a vigilante, and also, in parallel, James Gordon. Most of the new characters and concepts created were taken up in the Batman: Long Halloween and Batman: Dark Victory arcs.
