Sapphire Stagg is the socialite daughter of industrialist Simon Stagg. She was the girlfriend, and later the wife, of Rex Mason (Metamorpho). Together they have a son, Joey. Sapphire later married Java at the insistence of her father when it was believed that Rex was dead. She was widowed when Simon murdered Java. In the DC Rebirth continuity, Sapphire has never been married, and she is the sister of Sebastian Stagg.
