King Kong

King Kong was a giant monster resembling a colossal gorilla who was worshiped by the natives of Skull Island as a god. An American film crew, led by Carl Denham, captured Kong and took him to New York City to be exhibited as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Kong escaped and kidnapped Ann Darrow, a woman with whom he had become infatuated. He climbed the Empire State Building, only to fall from the top of the skyscraper after being repeatedly shot by fighter planes.
