Mogol

Mogol was the giant, powerful robot created by the Subterranean ruler, Tyrannus, who programmed him to believe his life had been saved by Tyrannus rather than his actual origin. He had also been designed to think he had emotions, and the small people of Subterranea left him feeling lonely. Tyrannus teleported Mogol to Manhattan to seek the aid of The Hulk against the Mole Man, but when Hulk hears Tyrannus' name, he attacks the robot. At a low point for Mogol in the fight, he decides to befriend the Jade Giant, and Hulk goes along with it, so Tyrannus teleports them both to his realm where they build fortifications to steel themselves against the Mole Man's forthcoming attack. When Mogol is exposed in battle as a robot, Hulk feels betrayed despite Mogol's insistence that he didn't know he was a robot. Hulk destroys Mogol, but even as he died, the robot professed his innocence, leaving Hulk wondering if he was, perhaps, a true friend after all.
