Lucifer

Lucifer was the ruler of Hell and he chose Leviatha, tempter of Eve, Icarus and Orpheus, to be his first wife. Their marriage lasted only minutes before Leviatha's demise, and after she was buried Lucifer was forced to uphold their agreement: that he could take as many wives as he liked, but only for one night. After the one night, Lucifer usually killed his partners. It became boring for Lucifer in Hell until Matthias arrived, followed by his daughter, Hope. Hope learned from Lucifer how she could gain power in the realm. He gave her the powers, clothes, and a sword (Darkness). The longer she stayed in Hell, her appearance changed to a striking, buxom figure with white skin, hair, and eyes without pupils. With the transformation complete, she had become Lady Death. Meanwhile, Matthias had amassed an army to defeat Lucifer, but when he lost, Lucifer possessed him for entertainment. When Lady Death found out that Lucifer was not killed by Matthias, Lady Death challenged Lucifer for his throne and bested him. As he died, Lucifer cursed Lady Death, so that she could not return to the mortal realm as long as the living walked the earth. This curse is what inspired Lady Death to enlist the aid of Evil Ernie to kill all humans on Earth (Megadeath).
