Darkseid is the malevolent and merciless ruler of Apokolips. He is obsessed with learning the secret of the Anti-Life Equation and conquering the entire universe. Darkseid (born Uxas) is the son of Yuga Khan (Zonuz) and Heggra. Brother of Drax (the Infinity Man). Maternal nephew of Steppenwolf. With first wife Suli, he is the father of Kalibak. With second wife Tigra, he is the father of Orion. With an unknown woman, he is the father of Grayven. With Myrina, he is the father of Grail. As part of The Pact with Highfather of New Genesis, Darkseid traded his son Orion for Highfather's son Scott, sending Scott to the orphanages of Granny Goodness.
