Alexander Flynn

Alexander Flynn believes that he is Victor von Doom's son by Valeria, his long lost love. In his mind, this makes the throne of Latveria his birthright, and he creates the team of the Gladiators partly as a form of entertainment for the wealthy, and partly as a personal army with which to see through his attempt to claim his birthright. Dazzler and Beast interfere and thwart his plans, and Doctor Doom arrives to deal with the situation. Later, though it seems Flynn is still controlling the Gladiators, it turns out to be New Mutant, Karma, actually possessed by the Shadow King, using a holographic projection to address the Gladiators as their leader.
