Hortense McDuck is an anthropomorphic female duck. Daughter of Fergus McDuck and Edith O'Drake, she is the younger sister of Scrooge and Matilda McDuck. Born in 1876 in Glasgow, she followed the rest of the family into exile in the United States, where she fell in love with Rodolphe Duck whom she married. She is the mother of twins Donald and Della Duck.
