Patrick Kent was involved in a conspiracy to overthrow the FDR administration and install a fascist government based on the Nazi model in the U.S. This plan was foiled by Peter Cassaday who was, at the time, an incarnation of Citizen Soldier. Kent had been raised in a high profile Southern industrialist family who were racist, and he was a member of the Ku Klux Klan by the time he was a teenager. By that age he was already lynching and murdering African-Americans, one of whom was another incarnation of Citizen Soldier. As an adult, Patrick Kent became President of the United States, though he was often viewed as an adulterous, corrupt, and somewhat incompetent leader.
