Mr. Precocious

Mr. Precocious is a "small Shakespearean mutant" who looks a bit like an elephant, but might actually be a Bilby (a desert marsupial found in Australia). Like Camp Koala and Squeaky Toy Rat, he is a character who shows up alongside the action to make humorous comments and jokes.
