Major Force

Clifford Zmeck, a certified psychopath sentenced to life in prison, became Major Force when he was given a chance at redemption from his criminal ways through the Captain Atom Project. Unfortunately, Zmeck's sadism and criminality only increased after his exposure to three times the alien metal to which the project's first subject, Nathaniel Adam (presumed dead), was exposed. The project is deemed a failure when Zmeck disappears, but he is actually shot forward in time. When he returns, he is recruited into Project Atom as Major Force, but not without a number of clashes in the superhero community.
