Surgeon Michael Amar suffered some sort of mental breakdown and went on a killing spree in Central and Keystone Cities. Caught and sentenced to death by lethal injection, it was learned that his unique blood made him immune against the injection. Later, in Iron Heights, he cut out his tongue and sewed his mouth shut, earning him the monicker Murmur.
