Chillblaine was fourth in a line of young men recruited by the psychotic Golden Glider, sister of Captain Cold, who stole the Captain's equipment to make a viable partner out of the unnamed Chillblaine. This Chillblaine wasn't quite as gullible as Golden Glider thought, as he turned the tables on her and murdered her. Eventually he was paid back when Captain Cold tracked him down and killed him.
