Carmine Falcone, nicknamed "the Roman", is an American man of Italian origin. He is the godfather of the mafia or underworld of Gotham City and directs all the illegal activities of the city. He also has the police in his hand. He is the father of three children, all involved in criminal activities: Sofia, Mario and Alberto Falcone. He is also the great-uncle of Kitrina Falcone, the niece of her son Mario Falcone, who first used the alias Kittyhawk before opting for Catgirl.
