Geoffrey Thibodeux, aka Black Mass, was inducted into the first Cadre team by the Overmaster and given enhanced wristbands which allowed him to control gravity and increase in size, gaining super-strength in the process. He also joined the last Cadre incarnation, led by Dr. Polaris.
