Bruce Leonard Deodato. Alabama born and raised. A former criminal turned police officer turned ace detective with a very special ace, the power to transform into the mighty Luckyzilla. Aside from his incarcerated cousin, Bruce has no living family and has been divorced for some time after being married 10 years to an unfaithful wife. Having faced numerous disappointments and deaths in the family...such as the murder of his parents and siblings...Bruce has suffered from depression for most of his adult life. He was all but ready to do himself in when a mystical being...a talking rat he would name “Ralph”...endowed him with the powers of Luckyzilla. Upon receiving a necklace called the Medal of Life, Bruce transformed into a giant, powerful wolf like creature, called Luckyzilla...or Lucky for short. Once transformed into this figure, he can fly, wield electricity, walk through shadows, exercise incalculable strength, is shielded from damage by near impenetrable invulnerability, and absorb the impact of any explosion or blast of live electricity. He has chosen to utilize these and other powers to protect the citizens of the crime-embattled Massapequa Heights. He is mentored by Ralph the Rat as they explore new possibilities with his power. He is joined daily on the job by Harmony D’Angelo, his partner. He has also chosen to keep his powers of Lucky a secret to the rest of the world as anyone who possesses the Medal of Life can become Lucky...and as such, perhaps do the name and it’s power a gross disservice. Bruce must protect this power at all costs.
