Detira is a minor character in the graphic novel *Hound* by Paul J. Bolger and Barry Devlin. She is the sister of King Connor and the mother of Cú Cullan, whom she loves with all her heart. She falls to her death in a vain attempt to get her baby off Morrigan's claws. Based on Deichtine/Deichtire in the Ulster Cycle of Irish mythology.
