In Gilbert Hernandez's Palomar and post-Palomar stories, he's a San Fideo native seduced by Luba, resulting in their daughter Doralis and then later Casimira. They married but didn't see each other for fourteen years until a chance meeting. They later had Socorro, Joselito and Concepcion. Was severely burned trying to save Tontantzin Villaseñor from self-immolation. Resulting in only Casimira being able to understand what he's saying. Later divorced Luba due to her infidelity.
