Tenth is an extremely high-level sorcerer known as the Elvin High Wizard. Only two other sorcerers come close to his power level. Tenth's real name is lost to history as he has lived a very, very long time. While Tenth generally has an enhanced understanding of elves' actions due to his wealth of experience, Lusiphur proves a challenge to this insight. Because of this anomaly, Tenth spends a good bit of time challenging Lusiphur either directly or, often, through the women in his life. When Tenth directly challenges Lusiphur, the elf tricks Tenth into delivering him to victory and then guts the wizard, who is left seriously injured, but invigorated by the contest.
