Johnny Storm of Earth A (Earth-721) never took the spaceflight that created the Fantastic Four, so never became the Human Torch. After being wounded, Johnny was recreated by scientists to become Gaard, a guardian of the nexus between Earth-616, Earth A (Earth-721) and the 5th Dimension (Earth-6212).
