In Gilbert Hernandez's Fritz-related comics he's the Texas-born father of Rosalba "Fritz" Martinez and Petra Martinez. Second husband of Maria Inclan. Gave Rosalba's her "Fritz" nickname from the Nancy comic strip. Was an accountant for a drug-related business and wound up staying away from his daughters for over twenty years to keep them safe. In later years lived in a small Mexican village, married to local villager Sara with whom he had a child.
