According to the leader of The Seven, Koth was part of a space expedition from another planet that crashed on Earth "eons ago." The entire crew, save Koth, was killed in an attack by "primordial men." After, Koth began a hate-fueled quest for vengeance and began destroying civilizations, leading him into conflict with The Seven. Koth controls netherworld monstrosities, possesses other mystic abilities and has used human servants in his attempt to destroy the world of man.
