Typhoon Thomas aspires to become a pirate but sees Popeye as an obstacle to his goal. Determined to confront him, he sends messages throughout the town challenging Popeye to a duel. Although Typhoon Thomas wields a larger sword, Popeye ultimately defeats him, leaving him sprawled on the ground.
