Gerald Stone was an idealistic scientist who wanted to find a cure for cancer. He experimented a product on a homeless man named Jacob Eishorn. The test failed and Eishorn became a living cancer, now needing to kill to survive. Vicious and violent, he called himself Styx. Feeling responsible, Stone bought equipment and launched their mercenary duo. Stone thought that way, Styx wouldn’t kill innocent people. He intended to use the money to heal Styx.
