Johnny Thunder was born July 7, 1917 at 7:00 A.M. A Badhnesian cult used magic to bind a genie to the infant, with the intent to use his power when he reached adulthood, but their plans were foiled. Johnny used the magic word "Cei-U" (pronounced "Say You") to summon the genie, called the Thunderbolt, for one hour. Johnny adopted a young girl named Peachy Pet. He is also the father of Will Twotrees (Willpower). When Johnny died, his Thunderbolt merged with him for a time to become Johnny Thunderbolt. His counterpart on Earth-One was a villain who stole his Thunderbolt on two separate occasions.
