The Vampire Master is Bart Moore, a scientist who came into conflict with Doctor Occult after using his "thought materializer" invention in order to bring to life "monsters of the mind" -- creatures that were before only imagined. As the Vampire Master, Moore used his creations to attack Mrs. Amster, to whom he had previously been a suitor, and her husband Sander. The Vampire Master was fatally wounded by one of his creations and is believed to have not survived a fire in his laboratory.
