When Princess Vishnu was a small child, her father, Rajah Vishnu, saddened by the death of her beautiful Irish mother, brought her to Africa. The Rajah also brought with him his pet Bengal hunting tigers. He built a temple in the jungle and settled there with his daughter, turning the rule of the Indian Vishnu Province over to his brother. One day while hunting lions, Rajah Vishnu was fatally wounded. Before he died, he turned the care of his daughter over to Abdola, his Sikh servant. With her tigers, Togara (a.k.a. Raj) and Benzali (a.k.a. Betani and Bezali), at her side, she protects her jungle home as Tiger Girl.
