The American vaudeville performer, comedian, and actor. Healy, born Charles Ernest Lee Nash, was once the highest-paid performer in vaudeville before advancing his career into film. Today he is most remembered regarding his founding of The Three Stooges comedy act, but his career continued in movies until his death in 1937. He has appeared as himself in comics both in affiliation with the Three Stooges and as a solo performer.
