Neil Lonsdale

Neil Lonsdale was a New Zealand commercial artist and cartoonist. In addition to providing cartoons for the New Zealand Observer newspaper, he was the editorial cartoonist for the Auckland Star from 1952 to 1968. He illustrated the strip *Over the Teacups* for the New Zealand Woman's Weekly and drew gag cartoons for the New Zealand Pictorial in the mid-1950s. He retired about 1975.
