Jan Pieter Lodewijk Kickhefer, widely known by his pen name "Kick," was a Dutch-Australian commercial artist, political cartoonist, and illustrator. He is celebrated for his prolific Australian media contributions. In 1948, he and his family emigrated to Sydney, Australia. Throughout the late 1940s and 1950s, he worked as an illustrator and political cartoonist for Associated Newspapers and Australian Consolidated Press.
