Philip Nelson

Philip Nelson is the creator of AxiCab, the action-horror comic series published by Antarctic Press. Before entering comics, he spent more than three decades in broadcast television and digital media, helping shape modern live video production. Nelson was instrumental in the development and launch of the TriCaster live production system and was nominated for a Technical Emmy Award for his contributions to broadcast technology. Throughout his career, he has worked with major television networks, sports leagues, content creators, and media companies, designing broadcast facilities and production workflows that have influenced the evolution of live streaming and television production. Drawing on a lifelong passion for comics, film, and storytelling, Nelson created AxiCab to blend action, suspense, supernatural elements, and social commentary into a uniquely original comic series.
