Walter Simmons

Walter Simmons was journalist and war correspondent who served as writer and editor for the *Chicago Times* from 1942 to his retirement in 1973. He reported on fighting in the South Pacific theater during World War II and wrote stories on the outbreak of the Korean War from Seoul.
