Rick Keller worked as a letterer for his father, [Jack Keller](app://creator/5801), to fund his college tuition fees. His support work as a letterer for Charlton in 1970 is known. After college he became a physical education teacher until retirement in 2012. He passed away in 2022, from complications due to pancreatic cancer.
