Bill Crouch

Bill Crouch was best known for his work editing and writing about comics in publications and for books. He also self published the fanzine Pogo Okefenokee Star starting in 1977 and the comic Woodwork in 1980. Bill wrote several articles for Cartoonist PROfiles (Jud Hurd, 1969 series) from 1974 to 1977 and edited books regarding Dick Tracy. Crouch's comic work included Apostleman, which appeared in Crunch Comix, published in 1973 during his last year of graduate school at Penn State. He also wrote many stories involving Hanna-Barbera properties, starting with Charlton from about 1974 to about 1975 and later at Marvel, about 1979.
