Tony S. Daniel

Tony S. Daniel is an American comic book writer and artist, known for his work on various books for DC, including Teen Titans, Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, and Batman and Deathstroke and Nocterra as well as many other books as well as many covers for both Marvel and DC. In the beginning of his career, Daniel worked on various Image and Dark Horse titles including his own creation, The Tenth. He also worked on individual issues for DC and Marvel. His first long run was Teen Titans with writer Geoff Johns at DC in 2005. From 2007, Daniel began his work for the main Batman title with writer Grant Morrison, beginning his run with issue #670. After "Batman R.I.P.", Daniel wrote and illustrated Battle for the Cowl, the main mini-series dealing with the story's aftermath. From 2011 Daniel was the writer and artist of the relaunched Detective Comics for a year. Since then, he had short stints or single issue at DC, while working on covers for DC and Marvel. In 2021, he started with Scott Snyder the creator owned series Nocterra at Image, where Edenwood was published in 2023, which Daniel wrote and drew.
