Torre Repiso

He began his professional career in the sixties publishing in the United States and later in Spanish publications. He was a student of Oscar Novelle, with whom he created penciled work with Novelle as inker under the name "Romero." At the beginning of the seventies, he worked for Intervalo and also for Record, for whose different magazines he created over 80 titles between 1976 and the beginning of the eighties, titles such as "Death is on board,""Galaxia Cero," "Atraco en Berkshire Down," and episodes of "Junga de asfalto." During the eighties, using the pen name "Yacaré," he produced hundreds of pointillist portraits of Argentinian and international personalities for the newspaper Ambito Financiero newspaper. His works also appeared in the newspapers La Nación, La Prensa, El Cronista and Buenos Aires Herald, as well as publications in England, Scotland and Italy.
