Brian Basset

Basset began drawing editorial cartoons for The Seattle Times in 1978 and continued for 16 years. He created the strip "Adam" in 1984 and after a name change to "Adam@Home" he continued until 2009. He worked on two strips for several years, having created "Red and Rover" in 2000. Basset has continued "Red and Rover" exclusively since 2009, when he agreed to a contract buyout of "Adam@Home". That strip was handed off to artist Rob Harrell. Basset plans to eventually donate his archive of original prints to the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum in Ohio.
