Olivia Vieweg

Olivia Vieweg is a German cartoonist and author. Her first shorter comic books were written in the manga-influenced so-called "Germangaka" style. In 2011 she graduated from the Bauhaus University in Weimar with the zombie comic [Endzeit #[nn] (Juni 2012)](app://issue/953387). Subsequently she transformed it into a screenplay, which won the Tankred-Dorst-award in 2015 and was made into a film. While filming the adaptation of her screenplay for Endzeit, Olivia Vieweg began a new adaptation of the story as [Endzeit #[nn] (2018)](app://issue/1791943). Other works are the graphic novels [Huck Finn #[nn] ([Mai] 2013)](app://issue/1124580) (a modern adaptation of Huckleberry Finn), [Antoinette kehrt zurück #[nn] (2014)](app://issue/1192638) and [Schwere See, mein Herz #[nn] (2015)](app://issue/1615889), the adaptation of the ancient classic Antigone as a comic in [Die Unheimlichen #[6] (2019)](app://issue/2040953) and her graphic novel [Fangirl Fantasy #[nn] (2024)](app://issue/2633332). From 2019 to 2022 she wrote the manga series [Bibi & Miyu](app://series/149716). Her first novel Die Stadt der Schattenschläfer was published in 2024.

Comics
