Michael Goetze

Michael Goetze is a German comic artist. Michael Goetze drew the Flintstones comic albums from 1974 onwards. Two years later, at Condor he also worked on the TV adaptations of Heidi, Pinocchio, and Sesame Street. In 1979, he launched his own magazine, Voltfeder, where he was able to express himself artistically in all kinds of styles. From 1984 onwards, he drew the Masters of the Universe comic series to accompany the action figures. From 1988 onwards, he created the album series Das Robot-Imperium for Carlsen Verlag, which was drawn entirely on an Atari ST computer. This was a pioneering achievement at the time. Michael Goetze became the illustrator of Hansrudi Wäscher's space series Nick in 2004. Wäscher himself wrote the Piccolo series until its conclusion in 2007. Shortly thereafter, in May 2008, Götze began work on the series Korwin: Das Gute siegt, also a Piccolo series in the Wäscher style for Manfred Wildfeuer Verlag. From 2009 till Dezember 2018 he worked on Tibor Sohn des Dschungels.
