Juan Arancio

Juan Arancio was an Argentinian artist. He collaborated on several Argentinian magazines in the 1950s, including Corso Pete, Poncho Negro, Puño de Hierro, Vida Escolar, Frontera, Intervalo and El Tony. In the 1960s he illustrated the work of writers like Salgari, Jules Verne and Stevenson for Editorial García Ferré. Arancio has additionally worked for publishers in the USA (Walt Disney Studios), UK (Fleetway), Australia, Canada and Italy (Scorpio). Since the early 1980s, Arancio had concentrated on painting and exhibitions of his work have been shown in Spain, Germany, Sicily, Canada and the USA.
