Tedi Gustilo Villasor

A relative newcomer in the independent Filipino comics scene, “Lindol” (translated from Tagalog as “earthquake.”) is Tedi Gustilo Villasor’s first published work with established artist Randy Valiente. An on-going post-apocalyptic series, “Lindol” was among the finalists for the “Best Komiks” (Best Comics) category during the Komiket Awards 2018. In 2019, Villasor released his second book entitled, "OBIsessions" with artist Jann Galino. OBIsessions is a portmanteau based on the story’s eponymous protagonist [Obi] and its framing device—Obi’s therapeutic [sessions] with his psychologist. A psychologist by profession, Tedi obtained his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology (2009) and Masters of Science in Guidance and Counseling (2002) from De La Salle University-Manila in the Philippines. He has also completed a Certificate in Sports Counseling (2006) from San Diego University for Integrative Studies (SDUIS).
