Gary Brookins

Cartoonist and painter. Was editorial cartoonist at the Richmond Times-Dispatch from 1979-2009. Began doing Jeff MacNelly's "Pluggers" strip in 1997 and then "Shoe" in 1999. Retiring from cartooning in 2020.
