Denis Lebrun

Lebrun's first published art was cartoons and strip 'Rolling with Roger' for the Tampa Neighbor newspaper. He created the daily strip 'Aw Heck' for the Tampa Times (1976-1979) and Clearwater Sun (1979-1980). In 1981, Lebrun started assisting Mike Gersher and then Stan Drake on 'Blondie', with writer Dean Young. Lebrun became lead artist after Drake's death in 1997. He left the strip in July 2005.
