Maurizio Di Vincenzo è un fumettista italiano attivo dal 1985, noto per il suo tratto realistico e ricco di atmosfera. Dopo il diploma all’Accademia di Belle Arti, debutta come illustratore su riviste come L’Eternauta, Tilt, Boy Comics, Pupa e Fichissimo. Dal 1987 collabora con Skorpio, Lanciostory e Intrepido, per poi distinguersi nel 1992 con Udo di Acquascura (testi di Peppe Ferrandino, Comic Art). L’anno seguente partecipa alla serie Nero e disegna episodi de La Bionda di Franco Saudelli per Granata Press. Per la Casa Editrice Universo realizza due numeri della serie ESP di Michelangelo La Neve (“Voci lontane” e “Il cavaliere infinito”). Nel 2008 pubblica in Francia Rangaku, noir storico ambientato nel Giappone del XVII secolo, scritto da Luca Enoch e edito da Les Humanoïdes Associés. Dal 2013 è uno dei principali disegnatori di Dylan Dog (Sergio Bonelli Editore), per il quale riceve nel 2014 il Grouchino d’Oro come Miglior Disegnatore della serie regolare. Dal 2019 realizza, insieme a Valerio Piccioni ed Emiliano Tanzillo, le copertine della serie horror Samuel Stern (Bugs Comics). Vive a Roma, dove insegna presso la Scuola Romana dei Fumetti. [Maurizio Di Vincenzo is an Italian comic book artist known for his realistic and atmospheric style. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts, he began his professional career in 1985 illustrating for magazines such as L’Eternauta, Tilt, Boy Comics, Pupa, and Fichissimo. From 1987 he collaborated with Skorpio, Lanciostory, and Intrepido, later gaining recognition in 1992 with Udo di Acquascura (written by Peppe Ferrandino, published in Comic Art). The following year he contributed to the series Nero and illustrated episodes of La Bionda by Franco Saudelli for Granata Press. For the publishing house Universo, he drew two issues of Michelangelo La Neve’s series ESP (“Voci lontane” and “Il cavaliere infinito”). In 2008 he released Rangaku, a historical noir set in 17th-century Japan, written by Luca Enoch and published in France by Les Humanoïdes Associés. Since 2013 he has been one of the main artists of Dylan Dog (Sergio Bonelli Editore), for which he received the Grouchino d’Oro Award in 2014 as Best Artist of the regular series.
