Born in Haine-Saint-Paul on September 4, 1946. After university studies, he published his first comic strip stories, Les Histoires fausses de l'Oncle Jules, in the daily newspaper Le Soir. He joined Le Lombard in 1972 as a writer for Chevalier Beloiseau for Mike. Stories that were followed by Le Comte Lombardi for Godi, Residus le tyran de Rome for Pierre Guilmard, Charabia for Daniel Hulet and finally, in 1979, with Bedu Le Petit Prof and Ali Béber.
