E. C. Tubb

E. C. Tubb was born in London and resided there his entire life. He was a prolific writer, mostly of science fiction but he also wrote westerns and occasionally in other genres. His first published story appeared in 1951 and he wrote continuously, sometimes updating older work for more recent times. He is best known for two series, Dumarest of Terra and Cap Kennedy. Between 1961 and 1963 he wrote a number of stories for digest sized comics, with most of them appearing in various picture libraries published by Fleetway Publications.
