Christina M. Zúñiga, professionally known as Christina Z, is an American comic book writer. She was the first woman to enter *Wizard magazine’s Top 10 list of best-selling writers*, a recognition earned through her work on **Witchblade**, published by *Image Comics/Top Cow*. She wrote the first 39 issues of the series, playing a key role in defining its narrative identity. She also authored spin-offs and numerous crossovers tied to the franchise, including Tales of the **Witchblade**, **Destiny’s Child**, **Witchblade/Elektra**, and **Wolverine/Witchblade**. Throughout her career, she has worked with several major publishers: for *Marvel Comics*, she wrote Tigra and Weapon X: Marrow; for DC Comics, she contributed to The Powerpuff Girls; and she also wrote for IDW Publishing (Shadowplay), Virgin Comics (Shadow Hunter), Digital Webbing (BloodRayne), and Valiant/Acclaim (Master Darque). Alongside her comics work, she has been active in the music and entertainment industries, contributing to projects such as Witchblade: The Music (DreamWorks Records) and 13 Ghost Stories (with Jean-Marc Lederman).
