伊藤あしゅら紅丸

Ashura Benimaru Itoh (伊藤あしゅら紅丸) is a cartoonist, illustrator, musician and video game designer with a wide variety of credits to his name. Among his comics credits are the Star Fox and Super Metroid series that appeared in Nintendo Power magazine in the nineties. He also did the Pokémon newspaper strip that was collected in the "Pikachu Meets the Press" book as well as the Japan-only release Mother 2: Gyiyg Strikes Back: Ness's Adventure Chronicles (マザー２ ギーグの逆襲 ネスの冒険記). Among the pen names he has used are Ashura Itoh (伊藤あしゅら) and Ashura Benimaru (あしゅら紅丸).
