Eric L. Hoffman, was a historian, writer, and science-fiction and horror fan. A longtime contributor to Forrest J Ackerman’s Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine, he often answered reader’s trivia questions in the ‘Ask Eric’ or ‘Professor Gruebeard’ columns. Hoffman later worked on Ackerman’s Monsterland and the revived Famous Monsters. His vast collection of pressbooks and photos was widely acknowledged.
