Guillermo Saccomanno is an Argentine writer, essayist and comic book scriptwriter. Considered one of the most outstanding artists and intellectuals of his country, he is also a regular columnist for the newspaper Página/12. In 1972 he started as a comic scriptwriter, a profession that would lead him to collaborate with cartoonists such as Alberto, Enrique and Patricia Breccia, Leopoldo Durañona, Arturo del Castillo, or Francisco Solano López for Argentine and European publications. Together with the writer Carlos Trillo, he compiled the Historia de la Historieta Argentina.
